Zreče, 21 December (STA) - The group around tool maker Unior plans to increase annual sales by 2022 to EUR 286.3m, which is 19.8% more than it generated last year, according to the medium-term plan for 2018-2022. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) are planned to increase by 16.5% to stand at EUR 38m in 2022.
The Zreče-based company, which will soon mark its 100th anniversary, wants to reduce its financial debt in the 2018-2022 period, with the ratio between the net financial debt and EBITDA planned to drop from 3.47 to 1.75.
Unior also plans to increase the equity financing rate, with the share of capital in liabilities planned to increase from 43.6% at the end of 2017 to 58.8% at the end of 2022.
The company added that the financial projections were based on the assumption of moderate economic growth in the global environment without any major global political and economic crises.
The projections do not include possible extraordinary events, such as purchase or sale of fixed assets or investments or introduction of new activities and their effects.
Unior said it would solidify or improve its market shares in a majority of its product groups by 2022 with innovative solutions and expand sales to new and boost sales on the existing markets.
