Ljubljana, 20 March (STA) - Slovenia's consumer confidence index dipped for a second straight month in March, but it remains seven percentage points above the value a year ago and 19 points above the long-term average, official data show.
The index showing consumer sentiment decreased by a point from the month before, the Statistics Office reported on Tuesday.
This was due to dampened expectations about jobs (-2pp), about the state of the national economy (-1pp) and about the outlook for savings (-1pp).
The boost at the annual level came from grater optimism about jobs and the state of the national economy (+9pp each), as well as about savings (+8pp) and about household finances (+4pp).
