Ljubljana, 08 June (STA) - Slovenia's industrial output rose by 6.9% at the annual level in April despite remaining unchanged on the month before, as mining and manufacturing continued to grow at a robust pace, the Statistics Office said on Friday.
In mining, output surged by 14% year-on-year and in manufacturing it expanded by 7.4%. Electricity, gas and steam supply was virtually flat.
Revenue, meanwhile, grew at 0.4% over the previous month and 8.3% at the annual level.
The biggest increase was recorded in capital goods industries (18.4%).
The value of stocks of finished and unfinished production increased by 0.3% at the monthly level and 8.3% at the annual level.
