Ljubljana, 24 April (STA) - Slovenian business sentiment has increased after two months of decline in April. At 13.2 points it was 1.1 percentage points higher than in March and 1.4 points higher than in April last year. The index was 14.5 percentage points above long-term average, the Statistics Office reported on Tuesday.
All sub-indicators but in manufacturing (-0.5 points) rose, with services contributing the most (0.7 points) to the monthly rise.
At the yearly level, the services sub-indicator declined by 0.4 points and the manufacturing sub-indicator by 0.2 points. The decline was offset by 1.3 and 0.8 rises in consumer confidence and construction sub-indicators, respectively.
