Ljubljana, 30 April (STA) - Adria Mobil, one of Europe's leading caravan makers, generated EUR 416.8m in sales revenue at group level in 2017, a 17% increase on 2016. Net profit for the company, which was acquired by French mobile homes maker Trigano last September, rose by 37% to EUR 38.5m.
The group secured most of its revenue on foreign markets with the sale of caravans and mobile homes, shows the report, released today.
Operating profit for the group, which also includes 11 subsidiaries, amounted to EUR 47.4m last year, a 44% increase. The workforce expanded by 100 to 1,721.
The Novo Mesto-based core company recorded EUR 350m in sales revenue, a 9% increase. Net profit rose by 6% to EUR 28.8m and operating profit by 19% to EUR 33.8m.
While Adria Mobil got a new owner last year, another term was confirmed in December for the long-standing director-general Sonja Gole.
